Spay-Neuter Program

Itty Bitty Kitty, Inc. provides a low cost spay-neuter program to the community.  We realize the importance of such a program due to the overwhelming number of stray cats and dogs in the United States. We offer our services for both friendly house cats and stray, feral cats.

All surgeries include the spaying or neutering, distemper and rabies vaccinations.  Additional services including testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and FIV, deworming, and flea treatment are available for an additional fee.  All surgeries are performed by a local licensed veterinarian who has over 20 years experience.  House cats must be at least 5 months of age to undergo surgery.  If you need our assistance or for more information, please email ittybittykitty@bdog.org or call us at 610-973-7400, option 2.

Feral Cat Colonies – What is a Feral Cat Colony?

Many people ask us what is a feral cat colony, while others know too well what it is.  A feral cat colony is a population of feral, untamable domestic cats.  Members of a feral cat colony can include cats that have strayed while living with human caretakers as well as their offspring.  Usually these cats have had little contact with humans.  Feral colonies are everywhere and are becoming out of control unless you step in and help out.
